As 2015 wraps up, it’s now time for our favourite video game developers to take a well earned break to stuff themselves with turkey, ham, stuffing and any other festive goodies that we all long for. 2015 has been a fantastic year, and 2016 has many more amazing titles to bring us. Until then, let the developers who bring us joy take a well earned rest. Here, you can find an updating list of Christmas messages to their fans.
We shall do our best to grab whatever we can, and some of them like the Crackdown one below includes some neat little surprises too!
Bethesda Softworks – Thanks to Bethesda, we got Fallout 4, Elder Scrolls Online, and Evil Within. Next year, it’s Doom, and Dishonored 2.
Nintendo Europe – We really don’t have to say much about Nintendo. They just bring excellence all over. They have also had a tough year too, with the passing of Satoru Iwata. Here, Satoru Shibata leaves a Christmas message for the fans.
The Crackdown Team at Microsoft – These guys will have loads to share next year for Crackdown 3. Their Christmas messages comes with some concept art for the game, all findable by clicking on Crackdown’s famed orbs.
PlayStation Blog EU – It has been a stellar year for Sony and the PlayStation 4, with fantastic releases, reveals, and sales. A few developers within this post shared their seasonal sentiments, doing half the work for us, so give this one a look especially!
Platinum Games – The developers behind Scalebound in particular and many other awesome games have created a wonderful Santa and dragon image for the festive week.
Many of the developers are posting up posters on Twitter and Facebook directly, a la Christmas cards. If we spot any more blog posts from our favourites studios, we shall add them into our list.
