According to the Xbox Live status website, as well as some messages from the gaming community, Xbox Live was going through some issues last night, with the website saying there were problems with “in-game matchmaking, cloud storage, finding friends, Game DVR, leaderboards, avatar editing, or pictures”. Snoop Dogg was affected too, and made his concerns public.
Posting a video to Instagram, the rapper said “A message to Xbox One or Microsoft or whoever the fuck: y’all fucking server is fucking whack, man. Y’all going to make me switch to PlayStation if y’all don’t get this shit fixed,” he said.
“It’s that difficult to play somebody online. What the fuck is you doing Bill Gates? Fix your shit, man.”
Will he be happier on the PlayStation 4? Both platforms have suffered from various connectivity issues this generation, even last week for PSN which Sony are currently handing out extensions for. We all want to play games, but if the network goes down, we can still play single player games.
We're looking into some troubles with Xbox Live. Keep an eye on this page for the latest updates: //t.co/99xfLMWcZW

From the look of it, Xbox Live is back in working order this morning as I write this. Maybe Snoop Dogg will have a change of heart, or still just buy a PlayStation 4 anyway. Why not?
