The 86th annual Geneva International Motor Show takes place this week, and to get the wheels spinning, Xbox and Forza developer Turn 10 Studios have announced a partnership with Lamborghini to feature their latest car, the Centenario super sports car in their next Forza title.
Call me presumptuous, but I imagine this car will be the cover star of Forza Horizon 3, or if they fail to go with that title for some reason, the next open world version of Forza. Considering that Forza Horizon 2’s box art featured the Lamborghini Huracán, I think this is a safe guess. Xbox are not ready to unveil the title or any big details on the next Forza game yet, so you will have to wait for the Xbox media briefing at June 2016’s E3.
“With its V12 architecture, the Centenario’s naturally aspirated engine produces 770 horsepower, powers from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, and from 0-300 km/h in 23.5 seconds – with a top speed of more than 350 km/h.”
“We’re excited to continue our long history of working with Lamborghini and to be part of their 100-year anniversary by celebrating the Centenario as the featured cover car of the next Forza game,” said Head of Xbox Phil Spencer. “It’s an honor to announce our partnership at one of the world’s biggest automotive shows, and we look forward to unveiling the game at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.”
