Tank commanders at the ready! World of Tanks is now available on Xbox One, and it also includes the ability to cross-play with players on the Xbox 360. It is the first title to utilize the feature, so look at is as a testing ground for what’s to come. In the meantime, let’s take a look at World of Tanks, shall we?
World of Tanks is a free-to-play tank battle game. Easy enough to control and navigate, but mastering each vehicle and the options available is what separates the novice commanders from the masters. World of Tanks allows you to take command of history’s most powerful tanks and experience the intensity of tank combat on console like never before. Charge into the fray and engage in epic 15-v-15 multiplayer tank battles. There are also hundreds of realistic mid-20th century armored fighting vehicles await your command.
The Xbox One version also allows for cross-platform chat, something that many of us questioned, so that should be cool, if you have friends on the other platform you don’t have. There are also a bunch of fixes and updates, along with new game modes and exclusive Xbox One additions which you can read in full, here.
You can download World of Tanks through the game store on your console, or grab it here from the Xbox.com marketplace.
