Windows 10 Running on 27% of Steam User Systems

Steam-LogoValve have updated their Hardware and Software Survey results for October 2015 showing what most of their users are running, and going by the results 27.64% of Steam users are using Windows 10, despite downloads of the OS slowing down somewhat since launch.

Windows 7 remains the most popular OS as 44.42% of users are found running that, with just over 20% running Windows 8 or 8.1. Unsuprisingly, Windows Vista is the least popular with 0.52% still using the infamous OS (0.52% too many if you ask me).

It isn’t much of a suprise to see so many users adopting to Windows 10, as gamers want to have the latest hardware and software. With the OS being free for Win 8 and 7 users, it helps the transition that much more.
