If you were one of the many people who bought Wolfenstein: The New Order, or pre-ordered it digitally back in May of 2014, you might have seen that the game came with a code to join the Doom closed beta when it becomes available. Well, that time has come, and you will be able to check out the game yourself next week.
The first wave of codes have been sent out to fans starting November 25th, so make sure to check your email inbox.

The closed multiplayer beta start and end times can be seen below:
WHEN IS THE DOOM MP CLOSED ALPHA?
Start: Thursday, December 3, 2015 @ 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time (UTC – 5)
Burst test: Saturday, December 5, 2015 @ 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time (UTC – 5)
End: Sunday, December 6, 2015 @ 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (UTC – 5)
Interestingly, the FAQ also points out that this closed alpha is not the beta offered with purchases of Wolfenstein: The New Order. That’s just confusing us now. A bonus closed alpha as well as the to-be-released beta that was initially offered?
“The DOOM MP Closed Alpha is a series of development-driven tests designed to stress test the game’s dedicated server infrastructure in a real-world end user environment. It is not the Beta (offered with Wolfenstein®: The New Order™ pre-order), a demo, or representative of the final game.”
The closed alpha will be accessible for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owner.s
