Watch Dogs 2 PC specs, and a slight delay

watch dogs 2Ubisoft don’t want to make another dog’s dinner this time around with the release of Watch Dogs 2, so the publisher has announced a slight delay for the sequel to 2014’s open world action title on PC. As well as that, Ubisoft have also released the minimum and recommended specs, for those wanting to make sure they have the right setup ahead of the game’s launch.

Watch Dogs 2 features a multitude of PC-specific enhancements, including support for full 4K resolution with Ultra Textures and Extra Details options; an uncapped framerate; and a host of other features and options specifically requested by the Watch Dogs 2 community. When Watch Dogs released for the PC back in 2014, the graphical prowess was reduced in order to line up with the new consoles at the time, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It goes without saying that the PC is a much more powerful setup, and it’s only fair that it isn’t held back in 2016.

As for the delay, Watch Dogs 2 will now be released on November 29th for PC, but it will still launch on November 15th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The extra time to polish the game up for PCs should make for a smoother launch.
