You’d be forgiven for nearly forgetting that EA have another Star Wars game in development, as you may remember Amy Hennig of Uncharted fame leaving Naughty Dog and joining Visceral Games. Apparently, voice actor Nolan North, who you may know as Nathan Drake amongst other well known characters, knows a bit about that game.
“If you’re a big fan of Amy Hennig and her styles of story: the big thing about her is that she’s gone to EA and is going to reboot a brand new Star Wars franchise in the style of Uncharted,” said North. “And I happen to know a lot about it. And it’s gonna be awesome.” You can hear it straight from his mouth in this lone Q&A panel discussion during Metrocon 2015 at the 20:50 mark.
Not much else is said, though North did say that Visceral’s Star Wars game is “along the same lines” as Star Wars: 1313, which was canceled over a year ago, unfortunately. We expect we’ll be hearing more about it in 2016, once Star Wars Battlefront has hit the shelves, and Star Wars hype can build up yet again. As for the Nolan North Q&A above, he discusses the Uncharted series, and talks about the Assassin’s Creed movie, and how he wasn’t approached for the role, and mentions The Last of Us as well.
