UK Top 20 Game Sales Chart, Sept 17th

BioShock the Collection e3 chartLast week saw the beginning of the Fall/Autumn releases, and there were quite a number of new releases compared to the previous weeks. With remasters, new IP and annual releases, let’s see how each title fared in last week’s Top 20 UK game chart.

New arrival, Bioshock: The Collection kindly took the top spot, bringing the three classic last gen titles back in remastered form. Fantastic games for those who haven’t played the series, and great for those who enjoyed them as far back as 2007. The box art is gorgeous too!

Other new releases included PES 2017, FIFA’s rival every year, which debuted in 2nd place this time. There’s definitely a fanbase for Konami’s take on the soccer/football experience, despite gamers’ disdain for the publisher. NBA 2K17 debuted in third place, which looks as pretty as ever and brings the best basketball gaming experience to consoles.

Overwatch enjoyed a few weeks back at the top spot, but now slides down to 4th place in the chart, while Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive ReCore debuted in 5th. Not a bad start for a brand new IP. The ever enjoyable Rocket League still sells very well at retail, having only released in the summer on disc, and sits gracefully in 6th.

Uncharted 4 is content in 7th, while GTA V drops down to 8th, probably its lowest position in 3 years. Behind it in 9th is No Man’s Sky, still finding its way into homes despite the heavy criticism and reception.
