Another week, and another look at the UK game chart at retail. With no new releases last week, it gave existing popular titles a chance to shine again, and it looks like Overwatch is still pulling in new players, as it cashes in on its second number 1 spot in two weeks. That’s 5 number 1’s now for Blizzard’s shooter.
Overwatch has been free to play over the weekend on Xbox One and PS4, so it’s easy to imagine that some players liked it so much, they went out and picked it up, or downloaded it there and then digitally. However, this list doesn’t include digital sales.
F1 2016 shifted up from 4th to 2nd in the chart, while Deus Ex: Mankind Divided slipped one place down to third. Not bad going either way! LEGO Star Wars and GTA V are still selling exceptionally well, and No Man’s Sky, despite its controversies, managed to touch down at 8th place.
A few new releases hit the stores this week, including Bioshock: The Collection. How will it fare?
