The week of the Black Friday sales always stir the pot of sales chart, with massive discounts on a host of games that act like an earthquake in the top 20 charts. With Call of Duty holding the top spot for three weeks, the Black Friday deals shook it from the top.
FIFA 17 took the lead thanks to a wealth of sales and console bundles, putting it in line to win the league. Infinite Warfare gets plonked in 2nd place which isn’t bad either, while new releases Pokémon Sun and Moon debut in 3rd and 4th which isn’t surprising for the popular franchise. I wonder how much of those sales were bolstered by Pokémon GO this year.
Battlefield 1 drops from 4th to 5th in the chart, while Watch Dogs 2 sees its 2nd place debut drop down to 6th place in its second week. Forza Horizon 3 falls into 7th while Uncharted 4 re-enters the chart at 8th thanks to sales. Titanfall 2 shifts up from 15th to 11th place, while Dishonored 2 drops from 7th to 12th. Skyrim Special Edition gets dropped from the clouds after the dragon releases it, falling from 8th to 17th. That’s a bit of a shock, to be honest!
