UK Game Sales Chart, May 7th

battleborn chartMonday, Monday, Monday, another week and a chance to look at how our favourite video games sold in retail for last week. Battleborn was the only new release last week, but still managed to secure the top spot in the chart.

Black Ops 3 managed to retain its place in second, despite the series suffering a bit of media negativity last week with the announcement of Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and EA/DICE revealing Battlefield 1. Ratchet & Clank slipped from 1st to 3rd place in the chart after two weeks at the top, which is still great.

The Division slips to 5th place, however it has now spent 9 weeks in the top 5 of the chart. Grand Theft Auto V once again surges up the chart, climbing from 8th place to 4th. Here’s hoping there’s more content to come this summer! Dark Souls 3 dropped from 3rd to 8th, while Far Cry Primal leaped up the chart from 9th to 6th.

What will top the chart next week? Uncharted 4? Most likely…
