UK game sales chart, May 14th

uncharted 4 dev diary chartA new week has begun, and it’s that time again where we look at last week’s UK game sales chart at retail. With two big releases last week in the form of Uncharted 4 and Doom, let’s see how the chart looks.

As if there was any shadow of a doubt, PlayStation 4 exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End dominated the chart debuting in first. How long will it remain there? We shall see, but its chart topping debut shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Doom did fantastically well debuting in 2nd place on the chart, with great things being said about it so far from critics and friends, so I may be giving this one a  look myself. Black Ops 3 slipped from 2nd into 3rd which isn’t too bad. There’s a lot of negativity surrounding Infinite Warfare, but that hasn’t affected Black Ops 3 in any way by the look of it.

Battleborn took 1st place last week, but Gearbox’s MMO-like game has dropped a massive amount of places, now in 12th place. Dark Souls 3 fell from 8th place to 13th place on the chart, while GTA V which still goes on in the top ten after so many years, fell from 4th to 7th which I’m sure Rockstar won’t argue with.

What will top the chart next week?
