A few new entries arrived last week and made an immediate impact on the UK retail chart over the week. There was also a lot of position changes for the regular titles, so let’s take a look at those and see who came out on top.
Far Cry Primal managed to hold the top spot for its second week which is great for Ubisoft. Surely they’re going to hold the top two next week, if The Division is going to live up to the hype, which I imagine it will. Debuting in the chart last week was The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for the Wii U. That managed to land in 2nd place, which is fantastic for Nintendo.
Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 which was in 2nd last week, has now dropped a place in the garden down to 3rd. Call of Duty Black Ops 3 continues to hold onto 4th for the second week in a row. It might be some time before it jumps to the top again, if it will even do that again. FIFA 16 lost a few more points during the week, slipping from 3rd into 6th place on the chart, and LEGO Marvel Avengers is happy in 6th for its second week. Other newcomer this week, the Heavy Rain & Beyond Two Souls Collection on PlayStation 4 only managed to debut in 8th this week, which isn’t too bad either.
Street Fighter V fell one place to 11th, and Fallout 4 took a massive dive last week, falling out of 8th and into 18th in its biggest drop since launch. Will Tom Clancy’s The Division steal the spotlight this week in the charts? You can bet your ass it will!
