UK Game Sales Chart, March 4th 2017

horizon zero dawn chartLast week was an extremely exciting week with the launch of the Nintendo Switch. March has been a busy month so far, and it’s only going to get busier as the weeks pass by. With Zelda and Horizon Zero Dawn taking up headlines in the past two weeks, who came out on top in the UK game chart?

Horizon Zero Dawn on the PlayStation 4 continues to gain new players, considering the massive player base already on hand with a PS4 in their homes. The Nintendo Switch launched worldwide on Friday and Zelda: Breath of the Wild managed to find its way into 2nd place on the chart which is still superb for all involved.

Grand Theft Auto V retains its place in 3rd, while Switch title 1-2 Switch debuts in 4th place. Ubisoft’s For Honor takes receives a critical injury and falls into 5th place on the chart, while FIFA 17 dropped points over the weekend’s action, falling from 4th to 6th.

Another Nintendo Switch title, Super Bomberman R debuted in 7th place, pushing Rocket League down to 8th place. Halo Wars 2 suffers greatly, debuting in 2nd and now looking up at the chart from 15th place. Weary times for Microsoft with that one, and with Ghost Recon Wildlands, Mass Effect Andromeda and others to come this month, competition in the chart is tough!
