Another week has passed us in 2016 and here are the UK’s game charts for last week in retail. The Division continues its dramatic debut, but we also have a few new releases that made an impression on the chart too. Let’s take a look.
Tom Clancy’s The Division remains at the top of the chart while our newsfeeds and advertisements continue to shove the game down our throat! New release title UFC 2 from EA debuts in 2nd place, selling 50% better than the first game that released last year. That’s a good start! The other new release, Pokken Tournament for the Wii U debuts in third, seeing Pokemon battle it out in Tekken style.
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 falls yet again, into 4th place this time, while Far Cry Primal takes an arrow to the knee and falls from 2nd place into 5th place in the chart. FIFA 16 also falls from 4th to 6th and GTA V retains its place in 7th. Not bad for a game that released in 2013! Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is still doing alright for Popcap and EA, although it blooms in the wrong direction and goes down from 5th to 8th in the past week.
Fallout 4 shifted from 27th into 13th due to easter sales, and similarly with Just Cause 3 which shifted from 28th place into 19th. What’s coming out on top next week, and what did you buy last week?
