Another week, another look at the UK games chart to see what’s hot and what’s not. Last week was a quiet week with nothing of significance hitting the marketplace, and with Mass Effect Andromeda arriving this week, will it lead the chart next week? We shall see, but in the meantime, let’s see how things look after last week.
Ghost Recon Wildlands held onto the number one spot for its second week since launch, proving to be a massive success for Ubisoft as more and more fans continue to speak positively about it, whether playing alone or with friends. LEGO Worlds moves up the chart from 3rd to 2nd this week, and could potentially stay in the chart for some time, going by general LEGO game standards.
Horizon Zero Dawn swapped places with LEGO Worlds, moving down to third, while GTA V moved back up to 4th from 5th. That game has immense staying power! FIFA 17 gets promoted to 5th place in the chart, while Zelda drops from 4th to 6th. Are these counting Switch and Wii U sales, or just Switch? Nier Automata drops from 6th to 14th this week, and Forza Motorsport 5 re-enters the top 20 for some odd reason.
