Another week, and another sales chart. Since Call of Duty Black Ops 3 stole the show for the Christmas period, it hasn’t shifted whatsoever. Call of Duty continues to be a juggernaut in the stores, and we can certainly expect the series to continue.
A few changes took place elsewhere in the charts, with FIFA 16 winning some points in its recent games and shifting from 4th into 2nd on the chart. Star Wars Battlefront trips over a Speeder’s tow cable, slipping from 2nd into 3rd place, while Grand Theft Auto V maintains its strength and moves up from 5th into 4th.
Fallout 4 dropped from 3rd place in the chart down into 5th, and an interesting thing happened too. Battlefield 4 climbed back into the top 20, reaching as high as 10th place this week. Amazing for a two year old game!
There were no new entries this week, although Halo 5 Guardians tumbled from 11th into 20th, and Football Manager 2016 got promoted from 22nd into 15th. Forza Motorsport 6 also skidded out from 10th to 17th place. PlayStation 4 exclusive Nathan Drake Uncharted Collection descended from 16th to 19th.
Will Black Ops 3 hold its place at the top of the chart next week? Most likely!
