We start off another week with the UK games sales chart, and to no-one’s surprise, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is still dominating at the top of the chart for its seventh week in a row. Two new titles debut in the chart, and some oldies see a surge in popularity.
New this week are Life is Strange, which was released on disc last week. That debuted in 7th place on the chart, while the remastered Resident Evil Origins Collection successfully debuted in 6th. Not bad for a remastered collection of classic Resident Evil titles. As for the top of the table, below Black Ops 3 we have FIFA 16 in 2nd, up from 3rd place, and GTA V switching places with it, dropping down to third. Still some good sales from that one!
Star Wars Battlefront is still hanging in there, with a solid 5th place position, just falling out of 4th place on the chart last week. Just Cause 3 falls two places into 8th, while Fallout 4 drops one place into 9th. Dishonored: Definitive Edition leaps from 32nd place into 10th, which is a massive jump for Bethesda. Destiny: The Taken King also saw a boost last week, shifting from 22nd into 15th, while The Evil Within managed to scare the wits out of a few new fans, double jumping up the charts from 29th into 16h. Below, you can see the top 20 positions.
