UK Game Sales Chart, January 14th

gta online cunning stunts chartHooray for Monday! Ugh, the effort of it all. BUT, on the plus side, we get to check out the UK top 20 games chart, one of my favourite parts of the day! I’m especially pleased with the chart this week, not because a particular game got taken from the top, but because of the game in question that took its place!

Grand Theft Auto V yet again takes the crown for another week, having released in 2014 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, still proving to ultimately be the biggest title of this generation, and perhaps even this decade. It’s game of the decade for me. Sure, call me a fanboy, but it’s a stupendous experience and every day, I just want to dive in and enjoy it.

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare settles for 2nd place then, with FIFA 17 now moving up to third. Battlefield 1 remains content in 4th place again, while Forza Horizon 3 also continues to do another lap in 5th. Watch Dogs 2 goes another week in 6th, while Rocket League climbs one place to 7th.

Doom and Overwatch move back into the top 20, while WWE 2K17 climbs a little higher in the lower half. Meanwhile, Titanfall 2 falls from 29th to 40th, which is utterly disheartening.
