With another massive release last week, the UK game sales chart has changed again. Fallout 4 debuted, and with it selling a reported 12 million units on day one, it was no surprise to see it topping to chart in retail.
The other new release, Rise of the Tomb Raider debuted in 4th, with Black Ops 3 and FIFA 16 taking up 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Football Manager 2016 debuted on pc in 7th place. Minecraft Story Mode shifted from 6th into 5th, while the rebooted Need for Speed crashed from 3rd into 6th after its second week.
WWE 2K16 slammed from 7th into 11th, and both Minecraft console editions moved up a few places each, although nowhere near the top 10 anymore. Still, they’re selling, and that’s amazing. Call of Duty Ghosts went from 15th, to 10th, and back to 15th last week. The chart is crazy, and us gamers like a lot of different games. How long will Fallout stay on top, or will FIFA or Black Ops 3 recoup their top spot in a week or two again?
