It seems that Call of Duty Black Ops 3 continues to power through the sales chart, as it retains its place on top of the charts yet again. No new entries this week, but let’s see what gamers in the UK are buying in stores.
GTA V still dominates the top ten, shifting from 4th place into 2nd in the chart, while FIFA 16 drops a point and slips from 2nd to 3rd place in the league. Star Wars Battlefront is still going strong, although the Force wasn’t strong enough to remain in 3rd and so dropped to 4th.
Word of mouth is working in Rainbow Six Siege’s favour, as the momentum for the co-op tactical shooter helps it rappel from 6th into 5th place, and Just Cause 3 improves somewhat, parachuting from 8th into 6th place in the chart. Just Dance 2016 came back into the top 20, previously down in 26th, now in 14th. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate however, did the opposite. That fell from 9th place in the chart down to 24th.
Need for Speed, Elder Scrolls Online and Guitar Hero Live also make their way back into the top 20 this week, all different genres, all different kinds of fun. Will Black Ops 3 remain at the top of the chart for next week? Most likely.
