After a brief week at the top of the charts on its debut, LEGO Marvel Avengers bricks itself and the almighty Call of Duty Black Ops 3 returns to the throne at the top of the UK game sales chart in retail.
New arrival to the chart Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 debuts in third which is fantastic, while the other new release, XCOM 2 debuts in 20th. The fact that it appeared in the chart at all is strange, as most PC players buy their titles digitally through their favourite services, but don’t take its 20th spot as a sign of anything negative. It’s supposed to be a great game going by reviews! Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth was also released last week, debuting in 11th place,
So, with Black Ops 3 in 1st and LEGO Marvel Avengers in 2nd, we continue down the list and see FIFA 16 dropping from 3rd to 4th, and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege still going steady, but dropping from 4th into 5th. GTA V continues to reign in 6th place again this week, while Star Wars Battlefront falls two places from 5th into 7th. Just Cause 3 remains in the top 10, though going down one spot from 7th to 8th, and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate jumps from 20th to 9th which was great for Ubisoft. It seems that after the Doom news last week, Wolfenstein gained some momentum, climbing from 40th into 16th which was good for Machine Games at least. And for those who bought it, as it’s a great game!
Did you buy anything last week in UK game retailers?
