Good morning, and happy Monday to all who clicked in. We hope you had a wonderful, game-filled weekend! Let’s take a look at the UK top 20 game chart and see what’s selling. Last week, For Honor topped the chart in its first week, but can it repeat its success for a second week?
Well, yes, it seems. Ubisoft’s third-person brawler managed to remain king of the chart for a second week, with Xbox One title Halo Wars 2 debuting in 2nd place. Not a bad spot for a rather niche title. RTS games aren’t for everyone, but the Halo title certainly helped give it that extra push. It’s a fun, console-friendly RTS as well.
GTA V holds onto third place again, and FIFA 17 remains in 4th. Sniper Elite 4 drops from 2nd to 5th place, while Resident Evil 7 dropped from 6th to 9th. Still, for a Resident Evil title to still be in the top 10 after all these weeks, Capcom must be happy.
There aren’t too many movers or shakers in the rest of the chart, but this week should prove interesting with Horizon Zero Dawn and the Nintendo Switch launching, bringing more Nintendo titles to the chart. It should be exciting!
