It’s time to look at last week’s retail sales in the UK, and to nobody’s surprise, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is still number one. This week saw the release of Street Fighter V on PlayStation 4 and PC. How did that fair at launch?
Well, it did great, debuting in 2nd place in the UK games chart, while other newcomer, Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon debuted in 9th place. There wasn’t much movement at the top of the chart, with FIFA 16 holding its footing in 3rd place, while LEGO Marvel Avengers fell off the block from 2nd into 4th. Grand Theft Auto V dropped one place in the chart from 4th to 5th. Still good going for Rockstar!
Star Wars Battlefront moves from 5th into 6th, and Fallout 4 climbed from 8th into 7th. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege fell two places to 8th in the chart, and Just Cause 3 parachuted from 7th into 12th in the space of a week. Destiny fell from 11th into 15th, while Forza Motorsport 6 climbed from 23rd into 19th.
This week sees the release of Far Cry Primal, and I’m wondering where that will debut when we revisit the chart next week. Did you buy any games this week?
