Happy Monday, one and all! Another week and another look at the UK games chart in retail for last week. Last week saw a few new releases hitting the shelves and it looks like they were well needed. GTA V held the top spot again for two straight weeks and now the beast has to settle for third place.

Taking the top spot, and not to much of  a surprise is Ubisoft’s For Honor. It had a massive marketing push and with closed and open betas, many fans got to try before they buy and it seems to have paid off. 57% of sales were on PS4 and 43% on Xbox One. A refreshing new IP from the publisher, and one that seems to be going down rather well. In 2nd place, Sniper Elite 4 debuts, offering all those lone wolf players a chance to do what they love doing without angry players sighing in their ears.

FIFA 17 holds onto 4th place which is great for the sports sim, while Battlefield 1 moves up one place to 5th. Resident Evil plunges 3 places down the chart from 3rd to 6th, while Nioh, which debuted in 2nd on the PlayStation 4 last week, drops out of the top 10 and into 12th.
