Last week saw a few new games hitting the shelves, probably the last of the big ones before the holidays. With Rainbow Six Siege and Just Cause 3 hitting the market, how did they fare in their debut on the UK retail sales chart?
Well, it looks like their late arrival may have dented their chances, as Just Cause 3 debuted in 4th, following some amazing looking trailers and documentaries about the size of the game’s world. Still, it’s in the top 5, and that’s not a bad start. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege only managed to breach 6th place, with the online only shooter arriving into a market surrounded by other shooters. Fans are enjoying it, but did it suffer with the lack of a campaign this time around?
FIFA 16 remains at the top of the chart, with Black Ops 3 also holding onto its 2nd place from last week. Star Wars Battlefront still sells by the droid-load, sitting in third place, while Fallout 4 begins to slide again, from 4th to 5th. Rise of the Tomb Raider slides down the cliff, from 9th to 14th, suffering from being an Xbox title only, and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection tumbles from 5th into 9th already as well. What will top the chart next week? FIFA 16 again, or will there be a change?
