Another Monday, another glance over last week’s UK game chart to see what’s hot, and what’s not. After the Black Friday rush two weeks ago, it looks like FIFA 17 is continuing to take over from Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, but last week only bringing in two new releases.
FIFA 17 enjoys its second week again on the trot, while Final Fantasy XV debuts in second place in the chart. It’s one of the best selling titles in the series to date, which is great. I’ve put about 10 hours in, and I’m enjoying it so far. Infinite Warfare stepped aside for Final Fantasy, resting in 3rd place, while Battlefield 1 shimmies down to 4th place.
Forza Horizon 3 overtook Watchdogs 2 to settle for 5th place, with Watch Dogs 2 in 6th. Uncharted 4 moves up to 7th, while the two new Pokémon titles drop from 3rd and 4th into 8th and 9th. Titanfall drops from 11th to 14th, but after a good showing during the free play weekend, will it climb a few ranks in next week’s chart? Time will tell!
Meanwhile, Ubisoft’s Steep failed to hit the top 20, debuting in 24th place.
