With 2016, and the first bank holiday of the new year out of the way, we can now take a look at the final week of last year in UK games retail. Nothing much or drastic has changed in the top of the chart, but with holiday sales and discounts, there is bound to be a few shifts around the middle of the chart.
Infinite Warfare failed to shift off of the podium, while FIFA 17 and Battlefield 1 stood firm below it. Grand Theft Auto V moved up to 4th from 5th, while Watch Dogs 2 dropped down in place of it. Mafia 3 stayed in 6th, and Rocket League flipped from 12th into 7th. Thanks to holiday deals, Uncharted 4 launched itself from 26th into 8th place, and Star Wars Battlefront marched from 29th into 20th, presumably with some excitement following Rogue One in theatres.
