UK game sales chart, April 9th

Quantum Break chartAnother Monday, another week. Let’s take a look back at last week’s UK game sales chart from retail, and see what topped the chart, and what dropped off entirely.

Last week, we saw the release of Quantum Break for the Xbox One and Windows 10, and it’s great to see it debuting in first place on the chart, the first game to knock Ubisoft’s mighty The Division off the top since that game released over a month ago. Dirt Rally also released on consoles last week, and has done a great job of smashing a time in second place.

The Division itself ended up in third place, although I can imagine it staying in the top three for a few more weeks at least, especially with the new content dropping this week.  FIFA 16 dropped from third into fourth place, while Far Cry Primal slipped from second into fifth. Black Ops 3 continues to slip down the chart, now finding itself in seventh place, while the ever selling GTA V drops down to sixth.

Dark Souls hits the shelves this week and I’m sure it will make a daring impact on the UK sales chart. Watch this space, and join us next week as we review the sales week for this week.
