UK Game Sales Chart, February 11th

gta online bikers gang chartAfter spending two weeks at number 1 since its release, Resident Evil 7 has finally been toppled. Not by Nioh, not by Call of Duty, or any other new release, but something that continues to flourish after so many years. Yet again, Grand Theft Auto V is at the top of the UK games chart.

“‘GTA V’ is now one of only 5 titles to claim a minimum of 12 No1’s on the All Formats Top 40.” GTA V managed to take the top of the chart for a couple of weeks before the release of Resident Evil, but seeing it back up there again is astonishing. Resident Evil dipped down to third, with new release Nioh on PlayStation 4 debuting in 2nd, which is great news for the new IP! It’s also great news for Team Ninja, who are best known for their Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive titles.

FIFA 17 drops one place to 4th while Infinite Warfare hangs on in 5th place for another week. Battlefield 1 moves up to 5th while Rocket League slides down one spot. Forza Horizon 3 dramatically climbs up the chart from 26th to 12th, and The Division finds a good loot drop, boosting its stats from 25th to 17th.
