Tom Clancy’s The Division is only a matter of days away at this stage, and with the amount of betas, trailers, walkthroughs, teasers and Youtube explanation videos, we’ve seen enough, and we just want to play it in full. But first, here’s the final trailer, the launch trailer.
Taking RPG elements and mixing it up with co-op third person shooting action with a cover system, The Division looks set to be one of the biggest games of 2016. The Dark Zone will have a big part to play, but it’s the idea of fighting through New York City in the company of friends that has us most excited. The game seems to have a richer story than another comparable title we won’t mention, but let’s hope there’s enough to keep up busy for a few months.
“Tom Clancy’s The Division is a ground-breaking RPG experience that brings the genre into a modern military setting for the first time. In the wake of a devastating pandemic that sweeps through New York City, basic services fail one by one, and without access to food or water, the city quickly descends into chaos. As an agent of The Division, you’ll specialize, modify, and level up your gear, weapons, and skills to take back New York on your own terms. Tom Clancy’s The Division will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 system, and Windows PC.”
The game’s install size is about 40gb, according to someone who got their hands on the box for the PlayStation 4 version. This file size may vary on the Xbox One. Rumours also suggest that the game’s map size will be six times that of the area playable in the recent beta, which wold be fantastic. We can’t confirm that officially, and Ubisoft aren’t talking about it either. What we can confirm as well is that 24 players will be able to enter the Dark Zone at any given time. Be on your guard, agents!
The Division will be available on March 8th.
