This weeks deals with gold sees a number of Ubisoft games receive a nice discount. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is one of the best first person shooters currently available and seems to get better with age so I can highly recommend that for anyone looking for a tense tactical online experience.
Take it as great news, a step in the right direction or better than nothing at all, but Call of Duty 3 is now available to play on Xbox One via its backwards compatible feature. In 2002, Rare was bought by Microsoft, who continued developing games for other platforms, and then started developing Viva Pinata and Kinect games for the Xbox 360. It wasn’t until the Xbox One was released that we got an awesome collection of Rare titles in the Rare Replay. However, one game was missing, and that was Goldeneye. Due to licensing issues, it was never to be, but it was apparently meant to get a release on Xbox 360. Here’s some footage of it in action. Probably the most unexpected announcement at EA E3 conference, it seems the next installment in the FIFA series, FIFA 17, will have its own Story Mode known as ‘The Journey’. In The Journey, gamers will play as rising Football/Soccer star Alex Hunter in any of the Premier League clubs alongside various famous players.
