Another week of sales and discounts are live on the Xbox One and 360 this week. Life is Strange seems to be the highlight of the week, but there are a few titles worth thinking about for the week. Continue reading Xbox Deals with Gold, March 8th
French Studio DONTNOD Entertainment had great success last year with Life is Strange, but many fans (myself included), were a bit let down by the final episode. It wasn’t as dark and as menacing as the prior episode led us to believe, and ended up having a rather adverse effect on the story as a result.
But DONTNOD seem to be going down a more eerie route for their next game, Vampyr (pronounced ‘vampire’). Continue reading ‘Life Is Strange’ Developer Releases Screenshots of New Project ‘Vampyr’
We start off another week with the UK games sales chart, and to no-one’s surprise, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is still dominating at the top of the chart for its seventh week in a row. Two new titles debut in the chart, and some oldies see a surge in popularity. Continue reading UK Game Sales Chart, January 23rd
It’s the second day of week 2’s discounts in the Xbox Countdown Sale, and today’s offer is rather Strange. Maybe Life is Strange, and they want us to realize it? Continue reading Xbox Countdown Sale – Daily Deal 9
2015 has been a great year for gaming and picking just one or two outstanding entries has been more challenging than any year before it. After hours of painful deliberation I managed to narrow my Game of the Year list down to a mere four titles before finally, somehow, managing to refine it down to two. In any other year Bloodborne and Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward would have made the cut but in 2015 there were two other surprise titles that grabbed my attention and managed to revitalise two genres that had worn me down over the years.
Dontnod Entertainment have announced in a Square Enix Blog that they are aiming to release Episode 5 of the fantastic episodic series Life is Strange on October 20th.
The Episode will be called “Polarized”, and is highly anticipated following that cliffhanger in Episode 4: Dark Room, which you can read our review of here. While it is unlike Dontnod to let us know so far in advance until the game is ready, Producer Luc Baghadoust said that they wanted to let us know early in “the spirit of Max’s birthday”. So, Happy Birthday Max!
Some of us have been thinking about this for a few days, or were like Fiona and just couldn’t choose a single theme song from an entire series, but we have come up with a fantastic and varied list which should please your ear holes nicely.
After a two month wait, Episode 4 of Life is Strange is finally here, but how does the penultimate episode hold up to the rest of the series?
Dark Room is the most complex episode yet, and that is to be expected as all the plotlines start coming together, but while its highs skyrocket, the game gives you a swift kick in the shins to bring you back down a bit.
Dontnod released the trailer below giving us a brief look at what this episode, titled Dark Room, has in store for us as the storm draws nearer to Arcadia Bay. But it appears Max is not the only one aware of the coming danger. As well as that, Max’s search for Rachel Amber also continues, as is getting close to finding the truth.
