Hello everyone, this week’s retro corner is The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. Although there are dozens of entries in the Legend of Zelda franchise, this was my first foray into this game series. It got me hooked in the top down nature used for many of these titles. This game was originally released on the Nintendo Gameboy Colour back in 2001. It was made available again on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Store as of 2013. During this weeks Nintendo Direct, President and COO of Nintendo America Reggie Fils-Aime announced 4 new special Legend of Zelda anniversary amiibo. as an added bonus the Legend of Zelda anniversary amiibo will have “special functionality” with the next Zelda game, Breath of the Wild.
Nintendo has announced that their new console which will succeed the Wii U, the Nintendo NX will hit the market in March of 2017. It was expected to launch around the holidays of this year but it has been delayed into the spring which will probably be better for fans. The announcement came as part of Nintendo’s financial results briefing in Japan this morning
