I have been playing Elite Dangerous for what feels like just over a year at this point. Every night that I jump on to play, I enjoy partying up with friends who have played the game as far back as its first iteration in 1984, who have tales of first discoveries, their month-long adventures into the black, and stories from amongst the community. When Journey was first released on the PlayStation 3 back in 2012 it became something of a sensation and united gamers from around the world in a unique experience that has since become regarded as one of the best games of its generation. It came as no surprise that it was going to be released for PlayStation 4 and it will be available from July 21st.
Journey is an experience and it’s one that is almost impossible to explain. It is an art game that draws you in without you even noticing. By the time you reach the end you’re left wondering how on earth you came to be so emotionally involved and wishing you could turn the clock back and start it for the first time all over again.
