Over the last three years it’s become increasingly difficult to take Microsoft’s word on pretty much anything they say in their statements. After the drastic changes to Xbox One policies and standing on a ‘Kinect-less’ Xbox One bundle we’ve become increasingly skeptical over pretty much anything they say in relation to policies future products. And that isn’t about to get any better with their latest change.
Yesterday at EA Play, DICE announced that there would be a one hour Battlefield 1 multiplayer session in action which you could watch live. Here is that footage, and it looks absolutely stunning. We can’t imagine there’s a lot of people out there unaware of EA Access and what it’s used for, but for those of you who’ve been living under a rock for the last two years. It’s a subscription service which allows users to pay a monthly fee, and play some of EA’s top titles. No doubt it’s an appealing prospect as paying the collective price of all the games available would be considerably more expensive than a small monthly fee, even if you left it rolling.
Credit where credit is due EA are doing a great job of keeping fans in the dark in regard to the upcoming addition to the role-playing game series from BioWare, Mass Effect. Whether you regard that as a good thing or not you still have to respect their commitment to keeping tight-lipped, leaving the development of the game to build hype all by itself.

It’s one of those stories that you really do need to take with a pinch of salt, but following two new filings to the FFC, it has led many to believe that Microsoft are planning to reveal a new Xbox One design at E3 2016.
