Oscar time has finally arrived! This coming weekend, expect the academy to reveal their choices for what they consider to be among the best of 2016 for film. I have finished watching most of the films for 2016 and nearly all of the Oscar contenders. Instead of a prediction list (I’ll give you a hint; La La Land will sweep up and Casey Affleck/Emma Stone will win the big honors) I want to give my insight into what was the best of 2016. Making this list was difficult,, but these ten movies have stood out as prominent front-runners. Take a look at 10-6 today and tune in tomorrow for the remainder of the list. We will start out with the best animated movie of 2016.
A Youtuber by the name of theRadBrad received a little gift offering from Ubisoft this week, and he opted to post up an image on Twitter, thanking the studio for what he received. A new iteration of EA’s established Ultimate Team is coming, and this time it’s not football or basketball, but the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Yep, the UFC. Today is a day for celebrating Star Wars, and Vanity Fair has gotten involved with the celebrations by revealing their June cover story focused on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The cover story features photos taken by Annie Leibovitz behind the scenes at London’s Pinewood studios. A video of her visit to the studio has also been shared.
The new version will have new achievements for the main game as well as the Breakdown and Lifeline DLC that were not in the Xbox 360 version of the game.
