Street Fighter V opening cinematic / live action teaser

street fighter vStreet Fighter V will be launching on PlayStation 4 and PC in February of next year, but before the Christmas holiday, Capcom want to show you the opening cinematic for it. This video will play whenever you load up Street Fighter V and sit on the ‘Press Start’ screen for a minute or so.

It’s short, but it’s not meant as a launch trailer, nor does it hint at any of the series’ lore. Just a quick artistic montage of all of the base characters in the game.

Coming in March however, after the game’s February launch is Street Fighter Resurrection. Now this is something special to keep tabs on. It will be a live action mini series in the same vein as Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist. Assassin’s Fist was the live action story that told the tale of Ryu and Ken’s early years of training, and it is a fantastic watch. Resurrection will tell the story of Guile’s friend Charlie, who makes an appearance in Street Fighter V, for the first time since the Alpha series.

Below, you can have a quick look at Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist, which I highly recommend as a fighting movie, and as a Street Fighter movie. The acting, special effects, and story are all pretty awesome and of an amazing standard too!
