The June update for Street Fighter V is almost upon us, as we approach the end of June. The update will bring the much needed Story Mode, as well as a new character. Not only that, but character costumes and new stage variations join the list of updates.
The Story Mode adds a new 4 hour or so campaign which gives you more insight into each of the characters. It will also let you play as the DLC characters when they each become available. The Story Mode includes fights as well as animated cutscenes, and you can see 10 minutes of them in action here, if you wish.
Some of the costumes are of the premium sort however, meaning you will need to spend real money in order to acquire them. Some costumes can be purchased with the in-game fight money, earned by playing the game. A look at the pricing below gives you a fair idea how much Fight Money you have to earn, or how many dollars or euro you’ll have to spend.
- New Characters — 100,000 FM / $5.99 / €5.99
- New Stages — 70,000 FM / $3.99 / €3.99
- Alternate Stages — 40,000 FM / $1.99 / €1.99
- Story Costumes — 40,000 FM / $1.99 / €1.99
- Premium Costumes — $3.99 / €3.99
Will this all be enough to bring you back to Street Fighter V again? Is this enough content to tie you over, and make the package feel more complete since its launch?
