The long awaited final chapter to Starcraft II, Legacy of the Void has got a spectacular new cinematic trailer and a release date. The release date seems extremely risky on Blizzard’s behalf as it’s November 10th. If you’re like me, November 10th is a fairly significant date on your calendar. The release date of Fallout 4.
“You are Hierarch Artanis, leader of the mighty protoss race. Years ago, your homeworld of Aiur fell to the merciless zerg Swarm. Now, at long last, you have raised a powerful fleet of warships known as the Golden Armada, and are poised to reclaim your world. But an ancient evil—Amon—threatens this destiny and the fate of the entire galaxy. Only you can reunite the protoss factions and defeat the coming darkness before it consumes all life in the sector.”
As you can see from the blurb above, the storyline doesn’t seem to feature Raynor and Kerrigan so we probably won’t get that storyline wrapped up yet, but this is the conclusion to the Starcraft II story. Along with the continued one player campaign comes new multiplayer units and modes.
Of course, Starcraft II has a large playerbase, although with the game getting its last expansion around five years after the release of the base game, one would wonder whether it can hold its own against the might that is Fallout 4. Take a look at the amazing trailer below and let us know what you think!
