EA and DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront reboot hits the market today in the US, with the European and Australian releases coming on Thursday, November 19th. The review embargo ended today, something I personally despise on launch days in gaming, when you’re expected to hand over $60/£55/€70, but what can you do? How does Star Wars Battlefront review however?
Here is a list along with links to their respected reviews. As you can see, a few 7s and 8s are the average, with Metacritic itself resting around the 78 mark on the PlayStation 4 review listing. The game is being complimented heavily on its graphics and sound, doing the Star Wars license justice and its pleasing of fans. There are various game modes to enjoy, including an online and offline splitscreen survival mode, which can be counted as a Horde mode. Whether the game will prove popular in the longterm however is the question. We’ve seen online only games like Titanfall fall off the radar quickly for many players. Will Star Wars Battlefront suffer the same fate?
