It looks like a sequel to 1996’s Space Jam movie, which starred Michael Jordan, Bugs Bunny and other Warner Bros toon characters may become a reality. Rumours have been circulating for some time, but a more promising affirmation was made this week by LeBron James, who may be the star of the potential sequel.
An entertainment outlet called Today asked NBA star LeBron James’ stance was on a potential sequel, he replied saying “We hope so. We’re definitely missing Bugs and Daffy and Tasmanian Devil and every last one of them, so hopefully we can do some great things.”
What makes it at least possible is the take that James and his own company, “Spring Hill Entertainment signed a deal with Warner Bros. Entertainment spanning all areas of content creation. Since Warner Bros. originally released Space Jam, the idea of a follow-up began to circulate online,” according to Hollywood Reporter.
And just so you know, the website for the original movie is still alive and well, if you fancy a throwback to the 90s!
