Ubisoft, in collaboration with Matt Stone and Trey Parker showed off another sizeable chunk of South Park: Fractured But Whole title coming this year. Revealed last year at Ubisoft’s E3 briefing, it is the sequel to The Stick of Truth, and follows the kids on another adventure with a super hero story instead of a fantasy role play.
Making mocking remarks about the likes of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, and creating origin stories for your character, it is the traditional South Park humour with rude jokes and hilarious pokes at modern pop culture.
The biggest change to the simplistic, turn-based combat in Fractured But Whole is the ability to move. You can push your enemies back, push them into your team mates to add in an additional hit, or move to take cover, reducing incoming damage.
“Not only has South Park grown with new places to explore and new characters to discover, but when the sun sets, havoc and chaos reign as the seedy underbelly of South Park comes alive. At night, a whole new world opens up where your alter ego can harness its powers to do whatever it takes to save the town.”
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on December 6th, 2016. Please don’t be delayed!!
