Yesterday, we read reports of the PlayStation Network suffering outages. As usual, you had fans claiming nothing was wrong, while others complained of not being able to access particular features. With Sony’s tweet this morning, we can see it was indeed suffering from issues, and fans will be reimbursed with service extensions.
While you won’t see anything different, or be offered a discounted game in return, you can rest easy knowing that you will receive an extension to your PlayStation Plus subscriptions, PlayStation Now, or video rentals that you may have been unable to watch.
Thanks for your patience today – stay tuned for details on PS Plus, PS Now, and video rental extensions.
