March 7th sees Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands venture out into the open plains and mountain towns of Bolivia, but before then, Ubisoft are offering you the chance to hop into a closed beta to make sure everything works. It’s an Ubisoft title, after all…
I’m not being difficult or salty, we’ve all had our fair share of Ubisoft issues, from Assassin’s Creed, to Rainbow Six and The Division. Ghost Recon looks like a more open world version of the latter, and fans may be feeling pessimistic and hopeful all at the same time. It’s not hormones, it’s perfectly normal.
You can register here for the closed beta, which kicks off on February 3rd, and runs until the 6th. If you like it, you can pre-order it to access a free additional mission which you can see in the second trailer below. Squad up with your mates and take down the drug cartel. There is no option to join them for a good time, seemingly. Secret alternate ending?
The following trailer features dialogue, dramatic music, and gunshots in random directions. Seeitasitis.
On the plus side, at least Ubisoft are offering fans the chance to check out the game ahead of launch, allowing them to find any bugs or faults before full release. Can’t argue with that.
