Michael Bay’s Turtles are coming back this summer, and in all honesty, I enjoyed the first movie. The sequel sees the Turtles return against a force from another dimension, with Krang invading New York City.
Brian Tee, star of Fast & Furious, Jurassic World and The Wolverine takes the role of The Shredder, one of the Turtles’ most established and well-known adversaries. During the weekend at the Kids Choice Awards, a new trailer was revealed for the movie, which you can see below, but Tee also shared an image of himself in full Shredder gear on Twitter.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows hits cinemas in May and June this summer, and looks bigger and wilder than the Turtles’ last outing in 2014. Featuring the same cast as last time, including Megan Fox as April O’Neill, and Will Arnett as Vern Fenwick. Out of the Shadows will also include two cartoon favourites Bebop and Rocksteady as well as vigilante fighter Casey Jones, who will be played by Stephen Amell.
TMNT managed to make a total of $493.3 million worldwide, with the movie’s budget equalling $125 million. Reviews however, were not so favourable, with a 21% score on Rotten Tomatoes and 31% on Metacritic. Maybe I just like bad movies….
