Rare’s Sea of Thieves received another showing at E3 this year during the Xbox briefing and the narrated trailer featured a tonne of charm and wooden buckets full of fun and co-op teamwork. Explore vast oceans and island hiding spots to find more loot and treasure to upgrade your ship and gear to take the fight to other pirates at sea.
As you can see from the below trailer, team work will be vital in order to decode the multiple riddles you will encounter in order to find the buried treasure. Trying to figure it all out on your own, and bring it back to your ship will require backup, some navigation and fire support.
Sea of Thieves will finally set sail sometime in 2018, which is unfortunate, but it’s certainly shaping up to be an epic adventure at sea, and we can’t wait to play it. The visuals still win us over every time we see more of Sea of Thieves in action.
