Psyonix have announced a new partnership with Twitch, the live-streaming service, to bring you the official Rocket League Championship Series. You can register your team of three players from March 25th. Do you have what it takes to be the world Rocket League champions?
“Grab two friends and form a three-person team, then register starting March 25 to compete in the first season of the Rocket League Championship Series! Each RLCS season will span three months and feature teams from all over North America and Europe. The top-four teams in each region will be invited to compete at a live International Finals event for a shot at glory and their piece of the $75,000 prize pool!”
Unfortunately for some, the website at rocketleagueesports.com states that competitive play is only available on the PlayStation 4 and Steam versions of the game. No luck for newly welcomed Xbox One players, unless that changes.
Rocket League will receive a new DLC pack on March 8th in the form of the Batmobile from Batman vs Superman. A disc release of the game has also been announced for later in the year, which will include some exclusive content.
If you have yet to jump onto Rocket League to give it a go, what’s your excuse?!
