Rock Band December line up revealed

Rock Band RivalsDespite the music genre failing to live up to its heights set during the late 20-noughties, Rock Band 4 continues to roll out content on a weekly basis to its niche demographic, and Harmonix have listed what fans can look forward to jamming away to in the month of December.

Starting from December 1st, this coming Thursday, fans can look forward to tracks from the Kings of Leon and System of a Down. Each song sells for $1.99 or your regional equivalent.

  • Kings of Leon – “Waste a Moment”
  • System of a Down – “Chop Suey!”
  • The Weeknd ft. Daft Punk – “Starboy”

Coming later in the month, band mates can get excited at the prospect of playing songs from artists and bands such as:

  • Aerosmith
  • Aloe Blacc
  • Avicii
  • Kendrick Lamar
  • Kool and the Gang
  • Lorde
  • Meghan Trainor
  • Sia
  • Twenty One Pilots

Rock Band is a series I loved back in the days of last gen, but I have yet to pick up Rock Band 4 due to uninspiring on-disc tracks, and the rather dull (in my own opinion) addition of downloadable songs. Sure, a few of them are interesting or known to me, but many of the artists are not to my tastes or knowledge. I’m old.
